Who is Marc Pinto?
An Entrepreneur, a social advocate, and an internationally renowned tattoo artist, with over 26 years of experince in the industry. Marc Pinto has earned multiples accreditations in tattooing and piercing. He is mostly renowned for his Traditional Hand (Tebori) Japanese Tattooing, which attracts enthusiasts far and wide to come to Perth to get the tattoo work done.
What are his core notable Art?
He is highly sought for his Japanese designs, such as Buddha, Dragons, Koi, Hanya, Samurai, Japanese flowers, and full back and full body work. His Polynesian-inspired 100% freehand work can be found published in a number of international tattoo magazines.
What inspired him?
He was inspired by his late grandfather’s stories from North Borneo, about living with the Dayaks and their traditional hand tattooing techniques. He did his first tattoo at the age of 15 and since then have travelled extensively in Borneo and around the world to learn more about life and art and culture.
